Hi,
Can you post a screen shot of the error?

I think that "end user" means just another user (on a different pc), and I guess that there is a configuration error.
So did you check the bw configuration?
Double-click you Baan Icon on the desktop, the click the Configuration button; check Hostname and the Bshell environment.

Aha, so your real problem is "1: No permission for this terminal". I guess that you also see this message in $BSE/log.bshell6.1.
I've been able to produce this error the following way:
1. Select a user with user type "Normal user"
2. Enter some data in the session ttaad2110m000 "Maintain User Authorizations by Terminal", e.g. Terminal = "/dev/tty" and the selected user
3. Select Options and then "Convert to Runtime Dictionary ..."
3. Now, when I switch to this user (su - ...) and try to run ba6.1, I get:
ba6.1: No permission for this terminal
Error [main ]: Can't connect to bshell
=> So I would suggest: Check if you see entries within session ttaad2110m000 and run convert ro runtime.
