Hi !
Install MICROSOFT VISUAL C++ 2005 RUNTIME and re run the setup. This is available in one of the folder of the licence software. If it does n't work download from web c++ 2005 version 2660 KB and install then run the setup of Licence manager.

Thanks, but that was my first action....and the problem is there.
I am installing SLM on a HP blades System, so i am warking under a ILO connection. Do you think this can be the reason for this error??

I had a similar problem, but i used Windows 2003+MS SQL.
The problem has gone, when i
A) login as baan user
B) run setup.exe locally! (not on remote connection)
C) run setup.exe locally! (not from some other computer in your local network)

I am not on a remote system, i am under a Blade HP System.
I Used ILO Remote Management.
Do you think this can be a problem???
Note: Why with SLM2.5 i did not have the same problem??? I used the same ILO Remote Management, and there was no problem? Do you know why????

Hello
Thanks to every one who tried to help me on this issue. But here it is the solution.
In a HP Blade system, windows 2003 we must copy all SLM folder installation to Program files (64 bits), this way the SLM will know where to create the SLM folder.
This is strange but was the solution.
Kind regards:)
