Dear all,
I was installation BaaN on IBM AIX, when I try to install service pack 3, I have some error, the error is :
"Fatal error : Error 540 (Database logon denied, please contact your system administrator) on ttiex186000 in clear_table"
"Fatal error : Can not continue in ottiex1288 in DLL: ottdlld_install (del.iex186)[bms.receive$]"

can someone help us !?

It has something to do with the standard role/ora_groups entry. Can you check if the user specified in ora_groups still is able to login into oracle?

Han is right, check $BSE/lib/ora/ora_groups but also ora_users, i´ll recomend to re-set the group and user pwd in db, and encrypt($BSE/bin/encrypt6.x pwd) the user and group password in baan again.

also check that the user is not blocked in the database.
