i have problem is that the rootdbs is missing. Someone had deleted the file from unix server. There is no informix backup at all. There are backups for the whole system using cpio. The file was not backed up in tape as cpio will back up open files that are used. What is best way to recover back the rootdbs .
please advise. Your help is appreciated.
