This is possible but you will have to manually edit some files as these files specifically have your old machine name within them.
You will want to double check the files in the Worktopdir/templates as well as in the Worktopdir/templates folder and modify these files as needed.

I had copied 3 files 2 from C:\Program Files\Baan\Worktop\templates directory and one from C:\Program Files\Baan\Worktop\history directory.
I rename all these files as there name preceded with old computer name but it giving me the error as shown in attached document.
still

Hi,
i Assume that you are using Worktop in windows Xp -then pl. check the following file
in the path
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Baan\Worktop
where <user> is the current user name .
the .ini file will tell you the "LastDocName".
Copy the wtd file into the new setup and provide the path in new system .ini file.
thatz it.
all the best!!
bye.

If you are installing this across a company, or department, you may consider use something as central deployment, take a look to the document, and please if you try to do this try to get the latest version of BW and worktop, because the newer versions allow much more options for deployemet, as silent distribution.
