Hi..

While importing data for titles(tcmcs019) through import utility of BaaN Utilities, I get following error.

"Cannot open file c:\baan_xch\ex\countries\asc/country(error 2)

Background:

1 I had created one ascii file (tcmcs019) through export utility.
2 I deleted records on by one from tcmcs019
3 Now I try to import the same file (generated through export) through import utitlity.

Would anybody please let me know what could be the cause of error.

I noticed that in your path there is a wrong slash. could it be the reason? Did you make sure that the file exists?

2 possible reasons:

(1) File does not exist (on the specified location) or
(2) Permission problem.

thank you george and kozure for your replies..The problem is solved. Two errors were there

1 File was not created properly.
2 Permission problem
