Hi,
I would like to inform the users that their password will expire in xx days just before they're login to BaaN.
How can I do that ?
Or how can I execute a unix shell before bshell ?
Thanks for your help

You should write a bshell wrapper script, ie a shell scripts that can check and send a message to the user, then start the bshell.

This has already been answered (search with: ipc_info password).
See the threads http://www.baanboard.com/baanboard/showthread.php?s=&threadid=524&highlight=ipcinfo+password and http://www.baanboard.com/baanboard/showthread.php?s=&threadid=516&perpage=5&display=&pagenumber=2

Another question ...
Is it possible to change the password via BaaN (ttstppwchange) after it expired ?

Hi,
you can use the session ttstppwdaging to chaneg the password on OS level and for the database configuration. The session ttstppwchange is only a subsession for the ttstpaging session. The password changing does only work if:
1) password aging is enabled on the server
2) the notification time frame has started (defined on the server)
I hope this helps,
