hi,
I export a table from one company via exhange, and then direct import it to another company, not change any data, but failed,I find the log file that dispaly "number of fields or field contents doesn't correspond with ascii file **",I can confirm the number of fields and field contents is correct,so I want to know the file format that BAAN required, when import the file to baan via exchange.

for this error [B]"number of fields or field contents doesn't correspond with ascii file **"

there must be commas (,) in ur data . pls replace it with semicion (;) in csv file u made.
i think problem must be solved .

You may find it easier to create both the export and import in one company then copy the exchange scheme to the second company. I have never had a problem with the files by doing it this way.

HI Starway,

Can you check and confirm that your field Relation (import) with ascii file tuxch0122m000 is macthing with field relation (export) with ascii file tuxch0132m000
and the ascii file is comma seperated and the file names are sme as "xxxxxx.txt" in both case in session tuxch0121m000 and tuxch0131m000? And yes your adte formate is session tuxch0101m000 is also eualy important for export and import.
