We have created some jobs, to run some sessions at some pre defined time interval. These jobs are visible in remove application locks sessions (ttstpdellocks). Any user, who has permission to run this session, can go to the session & delete the job.
This stops execution of the sessions attached to that job & the sessiosn are never executed.
Any solution to prevent this? One solution could be to remove permissions to run ths ttstpdellocks session, but users should be able to delete his/her application locks.

To my opinion it's not common to let endusers remove appl. locks. If you still want them to be able to do it themselves you could setup the tools permissions so that they will only see there own appl. locks or at least to prevent that they can remove other appl locks.

Of course they have to be normal users in order to make this possible.

Dear Hans,
Thanks for the reply.
I am unable to set user permissions as suggetsed by you.
Can you please explain how to set user permissions so that he/she can remove applicatoopn locks related to his/her login only.

Using session ttaad4135m000 (maintain table field data authorizations), never used it myself... check the help file of the session for guidance.
