I have to create an user with only read permission.

Hi,

You can only permit him to see the Display sessions, then that user won't be able to change the data.

You will have to go to Maintain Menus and create the menu you want there with all the sessions you need for that user, and then put the name of this newly created menu in Maintain users for the user.

OR Create a Role which has 'display/read' only access to all the sessions.
