Here we have Cluster Environment on Server (two servers running parallely, one active one passive).

Windows 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition is installed on both servers and cluster is setup.

We want to install Infor ERP LN FP2 in this environment alongwith clustered Oracle DB.

Anyone has done this before ?

If so Kindly provide information regarding the same, is there any special procedure to follow for installation on such environment?

we have done the same before with FP3 and Oracle 9.
The official infor-installation-documentation covers an windows-cluster-installation - you should read it carefully - but if you go step-by-step it should be no problem.
Oracle was installed by an oracle-specialist - because of the complex procedure.

I went thru the documents of FP3, its very well mentioned there about installation on clustered OS, but here we have to install FP2 and not FP3.
There is nowhere in the documents of FP2 mentioned about clustering...

So this is my problem at the moment :(

you wrote "I went thru the documents of FP3" --> I think you mean the documents of the Portingset-Installation (in combination with InstallationWizard and Portingset).

So the procedure ist exactly the same for FP2 or FP3 --> you should only use one of the latest portingset to install the FP2-Files.

I went thru the doc - "Preinstallation Guide for Windows (U8072G US.pdf)" for FP3, this document includes the setup for cluster on OS, then MS SQL DB, and then the procedure for installation on LN on such environemnt which is bit different than normal setup/installation.

So we are stuck, if FP2 is supported on clustered OS or not? nd if so what will be the setup process...

Can anyone plz suggest ...

LN 6.1 is supported on Windows-Cluster - doesn't matter if you use FP2, FP3 or SP1.

We have made Oracle with failsafe.

- SSA LN 6.1 FP2

Whether the Application Software is same for Clustering environment and normal Environment.

During Installation wizard not showing

SSA@ Installation Wizard 13.5.6.0 erplncluster

instead showing

SSA@ Installation Wizard 12.2.0.2

We are not able to find any erplncluster software in CD or reference in the Infor Site.

Even we finally finished installation of LN FP2 on Cluster Environment.

For installation of LN on cluster environment, enterprise server 8.4 (or may be higher, not sure if ES 8.4 is latest) is required ...
