Hi all,
today I downloaded all montly solution archives (mn*) and started updating an LN fp3 installation.

After a few solutions, the install process stopped on solution 213872 and I found this message in file log.install.iex1288:

Do you have any idea on what kind of error it is? I found error 100:

but I am working on the server using an ssh connection, and the windows client machine is currently connected to the system.

I tried three or four times to restart the install, but the system always stop at the same point.

English Check master security file before import of bic___slm___ files
TOOLS VERSION(S):
7.6_a2, 7.6_a3, 7.6_a4

SITUATION IDENTIFIED IN:
"Import data dictionary" (ttiex1288m000)

SITUATION DESCRIPTION:
After import of a dump that contains bic___slm___ functions (while not having updatedate permissions on the master security file) it is no longer possible to execute the sessions mentioned in the slm file.

SOLUTION DESCRIPTION:
If the permissions of the master security file do not allow an update then the import of the bic___slm___ file will not happen and an error message will be given.

Did you install the solution 221484?

I did not installed that solution, but currently I cannot install any solution, because the installation run probably put a lock somewhere.

Is there any session that will stop the current installation run? Should I change the solution status using general table maintenance?

So, I updated all tools tt and ta patches, then restarted the installation using bsp user (instead of my own).

I think the problem was the user, even if both had read and write access to $BSE/secu directory and all included files.
