I am trying to install SLM2.5 for Baan5c Portingset 8.2b

I receive this err

Server installation not supported on virtual servers
(virtual PC/server or Generic detected)

I could not install the master BCLM. Please advise how to overcome this
or a workaround.

It's mentioned in the documentation.

'SLM Server is not supported on virtual servers such as VMWare and
Microsoft virtual server.'

You have to install it on 'real' Hardware.

I am installing on real hardware with windows 2003. No vmware of any sort installed. Why does this message still appearing?

Does the hardware have a network card configured yet?
