Hi all,

I need to install the SLM manager on our Baan IV productionserver as we want to install WebTop8.4.

My question is, can I install SLM on our Baan IV production server without interfering with the current license mechanism ( brand file / licd.6.1 ).
My fear is that we can not use this production server when installing SLM, so will the server keep running without license problems on it's CURRENT license when I install the SLM manager on this machine

hi jp,
I thought on the same line before i installed webtop8.4. But then it didnt interfere with my Baan Licensing service...It creates a separate management console. You would find a listing for your Baan environment in there as Licensed..

But i find the whole licensing bit for Webtop 8.4 to be a bit complicated and not straight forward as Baan Licensing...
