Hello all,
I searched the forum before to make this post. What is the best way to create a new VRC, considering that the new VRC must have all the components from a previous one?

I found two sessions: copy VRC combination (ttaad1220m000) and Copy software components to a new VRC (ttadv6265m000). What is the difference between them? As my understand if I use the first one, the second will be redundant, right?

Of course I can do a export data dictionary and import it to the new VRC...

Please send me your comments or experience using this sessions.
Thanks in advance.

ttaad1220m000 will create a new "Package Combination".
ttadv6265m00 will copy VRC components into the target VRC you mention.

The 2 sessions are independant. There is no relation between the 2.

Yes, this can be done. But its time and resource consuming process.

Go for this:
1. Create a new package VRC manually for your purpose.
2. Use session ttadv6265m00 to copy components.

Thank you very much for your answer kaukul,
I will use your suggested path.
Just another question, after run session ttadv6265m000, do I need to run, sessions ttadv5200m000 (Convert to DD for Frorms and menus) or session ttadv5214m000 (Create DD for Forms and menus)?

Thank you in advance

Please find attached the Help for this session. That should answer your query.
