Hello,
I have installed BaaN LN on windows.Only Tools Module is installed.While installing other modules from installable units .I am getting Error "tg table not found".but i didint select tg module.then whay am i getting this error

Are you sure only tools got installed? The reason why i ask is after installing Ln, the menu that will be shown after you log on to worktop or webtop would be the tools menu. You would have to go to the User Data and change the menu structure to show the rest of the modules. There are some post-installation tasks(creation of tables and initialization of parameters) as well which you need to undertake after installation of Ln..
Last but not least, i guess the tg(Enterprise Modelling) module is integral part of Ln without which you may not be able to install the other modules.

Thanks for your response..Yes,After installing LN..Only tools menu i can see.i went to user data.but i didnt find any option there.Can u please tell me where to look for a option?

Go to the user data session and edit the user that you used to login to Ln. Zoom out the menu field and change it to General Menu(i guess). I am not in front of my comp and so i cant tell you which menu to select but if my memory serves me right then i think it starts with "General.." something...

The menu code should be tccom00000000.

A silly question, but "Have you run convert to run-time after changing menu to eneral menu?"

Check the user file u<login id> in $BSE/lib/user directory....

If only "tt" package is installed, then how were your able to put "General BaaN Menu" in maintain user data:confused: ? That menu will come only if you have installed "tc" package...:cool:

May be some step (like CRDD) is pending OR skipped!

Could you outline the steps you have followed after changing the menu to tc com 00000000..?

Another thing I've seen in Worktop is that you have to manually do a refresh on any change in the menu. Try pressing F5 and see if the menu shows up.
