I have downloaded the Infor-ERP (BaaN Ln 6.1 FP3) ,overall installation guide for infor ERP Ln products - New Installation.

I try to to install the same. no installing properly error giving table 510 i.e tools and application.

I request any one has simple documents for LN installation . Please arrange to attach in this BaaNBoard group.

Don't have an easy manual, but found some issues unless you do the following.
SQL2000 Win2003, fresh install of LN
1. Log into the server as local user Baan with password baan
2. After installing SQL run vcredist_x86.exe. The runtime files are delivered in a file, called 'vcredist_x86.exe'. This executable is delivered in ..\InstallableUnits\SSA ES Porting Set_INTEL-WINDOWS2003 8.3a directory of the LN DVD. You have to run this vcredist_x86 executable to get the required Microsoft runtime files installed on your system.

I hope you are installing both Enterprise Server 8.3 and Infor ERP Ln 6.1 FP3 Cds.

What OS and databse are you using

Sorry missed your question, there are several manuals available on a cd of which I got from infor. I would be more than happy send it to you. It is 180mb in size.

also , by any chance would know the file size (MB) of ERP LN 6.1 FP3...?

I see no problem with sending you the manuals. I wouldn't be able to send you the actual software, but there would be no problems with the installation manuals.

As for the size of the ERPLN FP3 files, there are 3 DVD's with a total size of all disks being 2.7 gig.

From where did you download rhe ERPLN FP3 files>?? Infor's download page or were you delivered those 3 DVDs..?
