We shifted baan on solaris server. We need 1-2 hours to import any session. Is there some issue is in server or it takes that much time only. Is there any solution on that?

There is a general slowness in Import/Export sessions in Oracle on Solaris. This can be eliminated mostly by performance tuning of Oracle. If possible update the Oracle to 10g.
