Hi there,
AFAIK on M$ Systems the version-numbers of the executables are omitted, because they contain a dot (".").
So bdbpre6.1 on unix systems will be called bdbpre.exe on windows for example.
Do you want to brand your system by using bdbvalidate in a dos box? Should work, but why on earth would you want to to this??
Anyway .... good luck und hth

Your profile says you are using windows for baan application, and you are searching file of Unix in Windows operating system.
bdbvalidate will do same function on your windows box as bdbvalidate6.1 do on Unix.
