One way is to delete them manually from unix fle system. I don't think that there is a direct way to delete them. Only there is a terminate option on baan tools.

Good LUck !

1.Find audit file folder on unix.
2.Select company
3.Select modules
4. use l -l command. Look at dates and file sequence.
5. rm filenames. ( delete your old files)

That's all

Hello,
as jclju1 suggest, "Purge" will be the right way.
Mr_suleyman's way maybe cause problems.

Wherever applicable do it with BaaN Tools !

In BaanV there are audit tables in company 000 which need to be in synch with the files at the OS level. Better purge from Baan instead of directly removing the files.

In BaanIV there are no audit tables so there is nothing to be in synch with the files. Remove files is easier. There are pros and cons as always. When I do this I write a script that will keep all the inf files and the highest sequence file for each table. The thing is many of the tables might not even be audited anymore and if that is the case then "Purge" will not remove the files.
