In Baan IV we had the nice possibility to Click the help icon and then click a field to get the name of the table and field from DD shown at the top of the POP UP help window. Is this possible to get to work in ERP LN ?

If you are looking only for the name of field then you can use ctrl_shift 7. This open an popup windows with an xml tree where you should find a lot of information about the session included the group and field description.

This also possible with SSA ERP LN. But before that you have to install SSA ERP LN help at webtop level and define help parameter into defaults.

you can get the information that you are looking for in LN also, what you need to do is click on "What's this" icon and click again on the field required to know the details, it will open the page with its description where you just need to put your cursor exactly left to the Field Desc (just adjacent to it), and it will popup the table and field information as tooltip text...

In BaaN IV for latest service packs there are two choices to take help one is older static pages wherein you can see table.field and other is like dynamic windows help wherin you cant see table.field.

But dont know, LN can show static pages help.
