I'm having this problem with one computer on our network where they get "username or password not correct" 9 times out of 10 when trying to connect. If I give them a static IP it connects perfectly every time, but when I switch them to a dynamic IP, the sporatic connecting starts again.

Our DHCP server is on the same network as our client machine. I've replaced the NIC, reinstalled the NIC, reset TCP/IP and also plugged them into a different network port. Everyone else using DHCP are working fine.

Look users network properties and look at your baan network properties from
in unix etc/hosts file.
