Hi all experts ,

When trying to install LN ( Fresh Install ) , after it shows
importing data dictionary for DEM , the next step it again shows importing data dictionary for Enterprise Modeler , The progress bar turns black , and takes long time , is it normal ? , if yes how long it takes
Please comment .

Hello Niraj,

If you are installing LN ondesktop with 256mb RAM and ORacle /SQLserver on windows env, normally it takes 7-9 hrs to complete the job.

Hi ,

I continued the installation for 3 days , after that i just checked in shell wether the processes are running for import data dictionary the ticks were not increasing so i killed the process i got the error saying

"Import process stopped Due to database error "

I dont think it is normal for the installation to continue to 3 days .

Please chnage in (bse\lib\defaults\all) bshell_max_strbuf_size:131072 and check it

HI there is no line that exist for that file, also I found that the system set the database size to only 1g so it ran out of disk space I have set it to 3gig now and install seems to be working again (I checked SQL tables and it is creating new one.)
