I want to change my BaanIVc4 from AIX 4.3.1 to SLES, and need your advice about:

1-Last version of SLES supported by Baan.

2-The better size and configuration for my new server.
(Processor, RAM, HD, etc)

3- Your experience and tips.

Look at the portingset information. The ones for 5c contain information about which versions of which OS-es it supports. As far as I know they support at least 8 and 9.

We are migrating to BaaN 5c on SLES 9. I have already been doing some tests and it works fine. SLES 10 is not yet supported.
Our hardware looks like this :

IBM HS40 4x 2,2 Ghz Xeon,4x 1000Mbit memory

It is advised to go to the latest portins set 8.3a or at least 8.2b.
