We have to install every few months a new server with Baan. We do this by cloning an existing environment. Because we are running windows you need to install the portingset after having copied $BSE.
Since portingset 7.1d.08 its really a pain to get a portingset installed.
I need to install 7.1d.05 first before installing the one I need. Very often I need baan support to get things fixed or installed.

I wondering if I am the only one having these problems?

Hi Han,

I also copied $BSE from the live server to test server. And the test server run very well. The problem that i'm facing right now is when i want to install porting 7.1d.11 in the test server. The porting set automatically detect the test server as the live server and i can't install the porting set.

Perhaps i will ask support to do this also :D
