one of the clients is working in baan IV c3 amd he wants to migrate baan Iv c4. what is the procedure to change the version of baan without halting the work of the organization.

I just have made it.

As some datadictionary changes come along with baan iv you have to convert the table content. Depend on the amount of data that can take plenty of time where nobody can work.
Beside this you have to convert also customized sessions / scripts / reports, which, what i belive, will take some time and testing.

I think you schoud really consider a well planned migration plan.
