Having installed LN6.1 on a HPUX maching, we don't get any help information from the system. The post installation document mentions installing help for Webtop but we are using Worktop 2.4. How do I get help installed?

Unfortunately I do not know of any other way of installing help. You have to install webtop and then you can install the help files from Webtop as given in the documentation. You need to do this because the help content ultimately opens in internet explorer and webtop is the component that configures ln 6.1 for use with internet explorer. You can install webtop even if you do not want to use it.

Webtop and Worktop are 2 different GUI options - one is browser based and the other is client software based.

You have to install Webtop on Webserver and load the related help information.

Hi,
don't know in LN but on Baan V it is not necessary to install the Webtop but use the Webhelp.

thanks for the tip but as I learned in the meantime, you have to install Webtop server to get LN help. Good to know though that it is not required in Baan V.
