Baan IV on MS.
I have a user who can't open two of the menus in her menu-browser. All other menus open normally.
Permissions have not changed and look fine. Menus open fine for myself (superuser).
No error message, or any message for that matter. Can't read the event log, but diverting output to console comes up blank.

Hi,
Does the user have the same language?

yep, same language
I just created a bogus user and copied the rights of the one that has the problems to it. Same thing happens, so it must be a permission issue after all.
But since when do permissions work on the menu level?

Hmm..
Is the user authorized to activated the sessions (that are in the menu) manually (run program)?

Underneath the troubled menu are a dozen submenus and one session. The user can start that session by code.

What are the permissions under the following folder:
$BSE/application/<Menu Package>_<VRC>/m<Package_module>
?
Can you activate the menu manually? From run program type m<Menu Code>12
For example if your menu code was tccom2test, type in run program mtccom2test12

Baan group has full control. Besides, my dummy user uses the system login from my superuser.

This I can not.
