There are an break on ora_hadle_ddinfo for table ttgfd420 in dbs.log.

But in other system (OS: Solaris SPARC 10, DBMS: Oracle 9.2.0.7) the same installation is working fine.

Any one experienced this problem? Any help is appreciated.

Core dumps must be checked by Baan.

So you're missing a file somewhere. What file this is, the log doesn't say.
Check your other log files for errors that occurred at the same time.
Also, you could do a strings on your core dump to see if there's any useful information in there.

Hello,

What portingset are you coming from, and what does you
ulimit -a say on each box?

Hello,

What portingset are you coming from, and what does you
ulimit -a say on each box?

Dave

Old portingset: 6.1c.06.01
ulimit -a:
core file size (blocks) unlimited
data seg size (kbytes) unlimited
file size (blocks) unlimited
open files 256
pipe size (512 bytes) 10
stack size (kbytes) 8192
cpu time (seconds) unlimited
max user processes 4101
virtual memory (kbytes) unlimited

stack size is too low. try setting it to 65536

The setting of this limit has no effect.

On other good system (OS: Solaris SPARC 10, DBMS: Oracle 9.2.0.7):
$ ulimit -a
core file size (blocks, -c) unlimited
data seg size (kbytes, -d) unlimited
file size (blocks, -f) unlimited
open files (-n) 1024
pipe size (512 bytes, -p) 10
stack size (kbytes, -s) 8192
cpu time (seconds, -t) unlimited
max user processes (-u) 29995
virtual memory (kbytes, -v) unlimited

if we set this limit on bad system then the problem still remain.

In your ipc_info can you try changing the "p"s to "s"s
so something like:
oracle8 s 302 320 s ${BSE}/bin/ora8_srv6.1

Just a shot in the dark.. there were problems with 9.2.0.6 maybe
they're still present in 9.2.0.7
