Baan IV - I'm trying to use the Key Map Settings (ttaad2109m000) with a type of 'string' to issue anything, but it seems to not be working. Does anyone use this setting on Baan IV BW Interface? I can call a session no problem, so I don't think it's my PC, the convert, or anything interferring. If I understand correct, I just need to assign a type 'string' to a function key, say F8, then type in the string, and the BW should issue that string when the F8 key is pressed. I can't get it to issue a simple string. What I really want is ^b, and then some other combinations, the help for the session indicates you can do this, but I would be happy with a simple string filling in a field to start with....

My help says string keymaps cannot be used for bw.

Hmm. Interestingly mine does too, if I check the field help instead of just sessions. Thanks Mark
