I am on Baan5c on Windows 2000 and SQL 2000.

Currently i am facing problem with the licensing server. Suddenly my users complain they are kicked out from baan and cannot enter baan anymore with message 'No license server available'. The enddate for my license is 2099. Why suddenly it just happened?

I went to check on the server side in Baan NT Manager and see the Baan licensing service with red dot, ie. it has stopped.

Why does it stop suddenly? Have anyone face this problem before?

This action causes the stopping of licd6.1.

those have nothing to do with your license server.

However, mass failure of a lot of programs might indicate system problems
or network problems.
