Hi all,

Would appreciate if someone has a doc listing what CRDD actually does

Starting from Baan Level to Database Level.

Iam more interested in what happens at the database end....

Regards

It depends on what you are creating/converting runtime (RTDD) for.
Since application data dictionary (APDD) vs RTDD is one of the most important aspects of Baan it will not be easy to find a document that explain all.

In resume, most of it happens at OS filesystem level; certain tables will be, however, updated with information regarding the creation/conversion.

Some tables also store RTDD information (like user authorizations) so, here, most happens at database level (storage of information).

See SSA/Baan solution 165813 "Reconfigure Tables FAQ" which explains some of the differences.
