Having installed LN 6.1 on Windows 2003 Server, I receive an error message when I try to connect to the server. When I launch the BW Configuration screen and double-click on the default.bwc entry, I get a message saying "Cannot setup a connection with the bshell". Behind this message is a window with the error "received from ipc_root: remote bshell path C:/SSA ERP LN\bin\ntbshell.exe not executable". This makes good sense because when I look for the exe file I can't find it in the bin directory. Instead, I found it under 'C:\SSA ERP LN\lib\install\bin'.

Has anybody encountered this problem or know what to do? I installed the following components:
Enterprise Porting Set
License Manager
ES Application Service Manager
Enterprise Server 7.6
ERP LN 6.1
SSA BW Client

your install step should have some mistakes.
After install LN, there will be a ntbshell.exe . And the file is must .

I did it again and this time it worked. Wonder what happened to first time....
