I moved forms since this falls more under Administration. You might want to try a seach using "Developer Authorizations". I found a couple that might help, but sorry to say I only know 4c4 and not LN6.

Create a Developer Authorization Template in the session ttams1151m000 and then link it to the Tools User Data (ttaad2500m000), then specific -> convert changes to runtime DD.

It is the same password as in the Tools User Data when you navigate to the 3rd form tab.

Hi NRPao,

Not to get off-subject but what is the initial password for the 3rd form on the User Data session? I never set it during installation if I remember correctly. Is it mentioned anywhere in the documentation?

Thanks,
-tom

learn_ln6,

Refer to the Chapter User Manager and AMS (Authorization Management System), SSA/BaaN Administrator's Guide.

Tom, I don't remember now its been a while. Try to use blank or baan as the initial password if it still does not work. Log in as bsp and use the session - ttadv0143m000 - Change Password for Developer's Authorizations to reset the password.

FYI - it is not possible to run ttadv0143m000 from webtop.

The Documentation is available on the Documentation Portal that was delivered with the software.

When you install webtop, webhelp is installed. If you access the webtop/webhelp server directly in your browser, you will find several manuals for the enterprise server and application.

If you don't install webtop, install webhelp by itself. The installation guides are on the documentation portal cd.

the latest documentation CD is in a horrible format - I'm sure it contains a lot of information but accessing it is a complete pain. You cant easily search for document titles, you have to run a ridiculous .bat file to start the thing off, you cant save relevant documents anywhere else for future easy reference

why has it been setup like this, to stop people distributing the documents? The documents are only of use to Baan/LN users who have already paid for the software, why make the documentation so hard to use?

Depending on which version you are talking about, the access is different. The one that comes with LN, is intended to be self contained webtop to give you the install guides and the tools manual. Once you get webtop/webhelp installed, you are suppose to import the xml file from the documentation portal to the server for everyone to access.
