I know only the way on Baan IV.... .

There are two ways to licence a server:

Licence by server (with the brandfile etc)
Central licence with a server list (without a brandfile on the client server)

Actually I can't look at the server for the file(name), but there is a file with a colon separated list of servers that get there licence from one central licence manager. On the clients must not be a brandfile.

Thank you very much for your reply. We found the error. The problem was the name of the server bsp@ALFA520.CALFA. It wasn't this name it was ALFA520.ALF520.

We have installed a new XSeries system, and the person who installed it change the name of the domain and Baan can start.
