Dear guys,

MS WINDOWS SERVER 2003 WITH SQL

To use installation wizard for LN6.1, the notebook server need to be in "networking enabled/connected" condition. The notebook is served for demo purpose only.

After installed LN6.1 FP2 with "networking enabled/connected" , the worktop can only be run/work in a "networking enabled" condition. So How to run worktop for the notebook server in standalone? or how to following bw message:

The BW Messages displayed for the worktop:-
1: gethostbyname failed: error 11004
2: rexec failed on host port 512 username 'baan'. Failure execution

Anyone, please help..

Dear all,
In other words for the server, Baan Licencing Service does not start after unplugging from network cable.
(i.e at Worktop when logon, the Bw messages displayed as mentioned earlier)

How make it able logon to Baan LN in a standalone condition?
Anyone can help?

I'm not shure about your problem... .

In my opinion you need a local installed licence Manager with a valid licence and the notebook must be in the servers.xml (I don't know the location of the file on Win. On unix: /usr/baan/shared/etc/servers.xml).
Another way could be (not tested) a HAS Installation with a SLM in the newtork and a local SLM (shared licence). So if you remove the network cable, the local SLM will give you a licence. This config would only wok for 5 days! After this time both SLM must find the other or the licence will become invalid!
In this case also both servers must be in the servers.xml file. Maybe that's your problem.

This is a problem with windows link state detection.
Look on internet for DisableDHCPMediaSense in windows registry
