Hi

Many times users are keeping BaaN applications OPEN and are doing other works. Because of this,license are in USE and other users are not able to use application. To avoid this we have set session timeout to 5 mins.

But we observed one scenario that if users are kept BaaN application OPEN in sessions Text environment (T button) then even after 5 mins system will not terminate server connection and licenses remains ideal

Please tell me solution for the same.

What i feel is that if u r opening the text editor using a third party product , as we use while working on program scripts , it doesn't get logout if the script is open , so i thought u must be facing the problem b'coz of editor u r using

Did you know the same thing can be happened if you run a report with display device.

I do not agree with Viplov becoz in Display Device mode session timeout is working fine.

You are right but viplov is also right as if you display a report and in display browser if you press option->read tail then the login will not kill.
