We have installed baan in a new system with a copy of the old baan instalation. Some of our user can open bshell because they have this error message:

1: boot failed of user 'ramon' remote user 'ramon' server 192.168.0.4!bshell ' bse ' boot '/baanERP/bse/bin/ipc_boot6.2'

I try to "convert to DD' this user but it doen´t work.

Any idea?

Thank you in advance,

If I remember correctly then this error indicates that the BSE variable is not set correctly for the user.

Check the BW configuration and of course any and all scripts that set the variable. It is also possible that the variable is not set at all, I guess.
