Hi

You can set a password through session ttadv0144m000 for both General Table Maintenance & Display General Table Information.

I think that option only for General Table Maintenance not for Display

Hello,

you're right, the password is for ttaad4100 (Maintain).
For ttaad4500 (Display) you can't set a password. It's only display !
No dangerous work can be done with display.

I am not sure about how to set the password, however if you want to restrict the access to this session then set the OS level permission for file $BSE/tools/<tt VRC>/ottaad/oaad4100.

Make sure that only the owner has read permission to this file. (eg. bsp). works on Unix, same may apply to Windows as well.

For BAAN IV, look here:

BAAN IV Tools
--> Database Management
--> Maintenance
--> Change Password for General Table Maintenance [ttadv0144m000]

The password will apply to both Maintain and Display session - that is, you cannot have a different password for each session. Also, it is possible that you may have to request the BAAN Administrator to do this for you, depending on your organization.

Hope this helps.

I hope that is applicable only to ttaad4100 not ttaad4500 I suppose.
