Baan sent us a validation key for our new system. I need to know before validate the system the implications of install it.

I need to know the tables and files that change when you validate a system.

Thank you in advance,

Are you using the Licence Manager (BCLM)?

If yes, AFAIK no tables in Baan are changed. It works different. The only file I that know for the Licence is the licence.xml (later there are more files/directories that change, but not only for the licence key).

Are you sure? I thought BCLM is mandatory with Baan V?
Or are you using Baan IV?

We use Baan V.
Baan send us a manual to validate the system. After they send us the key we have to run session ttiex3102m000 , then ttiex3220m000.
Is the Quick Guide 1818

Baan ERP (5) and Baan IV use the similar licensing mechanism. The port used for license daemon are different.

tties300 and ttiex301 of of company "000" are affected during the validation process. "/.brand" file created when you validate the sytem. Not sure if it is same for AS400.
