We have a system with:
Baan IV c4
Informix v10
Linux Suse
Authentication with LDAP

but the users that not exist in the local system not found in Baan. Appers the error log:
rexec failed host 'server' port 2, username 'user'. Failure executing ipc_boot binary in /baan4c/bse

Anyone can help me?

Can users login to the system using ldap? So are you sure that this is caused by Baan?

Do you use the baanlogin deamon or just the normal rexecd? Guess the standard linux rexecd should be able to handle accounts via ldap but does the baanlogin deamon support that as well?

I have no experience with it so it probably just a wild guess.

Yes, LDAP users can login to the system, but not in Baan.

I use the normal rexecd.
