Hi All

I am trying to print service orders out onto two dot matrix printers, both of which i am using the Generic IBM Graphics 9Pin driver.

When printing from Baan through remote desktop everything prints fine (text and graphics), but when i print directly from the Baan client the graphics of the report (lines in particular) do not print correctly. The vertical lines print diagnolly across the page.

I have tried using every setting possible on the printer. Could there be something wrong in Baan or something wrong with the computer?

Can anyone help with this?

Thanks in advance.

Can you supply your device configuration from Baan. Maybe a device report for the two printers from Baan?

Hi Andrew

You can do one thing, export the fonts from os registry of remote computer and install the same in that computer in which your facing printing problem.

I hope it would solve your problem.

Following steps will help you to export baan fonts..

2. Go to Hkey_local_machine - software - baan - fonts
3. Click on Registry menu to export the fonts
4. Save the file into desktop and copy it in that client mahicne where you are facing prblem.

Dear Dhanus

You can also use bwfont.reg from your setup files which is not OS Dependent.

Registry files may be OS dependent as several programs or applications are OS dependent which can not be run in differnet OS.
