Hi,

we have to renumber a set of companies, I found an interesting thread placed in dec 2001 (!) related to this subject (Changing company number).
I am wondering if someone has found a more efficient way to do this or some kind of a checklist.
Our situation is that we have 1 company (Log+fin) related to about 10 other fin companies. This whole set needs to be renumbered.

Did you try using the tccom0214m000 session ? (This updates the sequential dumps of all the companies... including the company numbers & enterprise units)

If using Oracle, I believe there is a direct way of updating the tables directly, without using the above session.
