Hi,
First Lay your hand on "Multi Line Exchange" - Quick Guide which can be found on SSA Globa Online support Website in the Documentation section.
Second: Read it!
and Third: Experiment!
I've done this in LN and it works as advertised!

Could you please send me the screen dumps how you set up the exchange for importing the text.
what was the format of the ascii file?
The ascii file content is:-

Hi,
I'll be off for the weekend in a minute. Just one thought. The number of spaces betweeen fieldname "txta" and language "4" should be more (4 or 5 spaces)!
{\{txta_____4
TAMPON AIGUILLE COUCHE MS/PRYSME
}\}

hello
vahdani is right.
you can get the number of spaces if you first export a multiline text as example. I also faced that problem..
