I'm installing on a windows server 2003 / sql2000 a new baan5.0c, during the installation i receive no error, all the file have been copied and the tools tables have been imported but at the end of the cd master installation i receive the message ' I/O error ', and then i'm not able install the language update cd b50c loc 2.0 us, as i receive the same error.
If i rename the licence6.2, i have a black and blue screen appers, with message
'you have no license anymore to start the bhell' then the message 'You can
still run the software under demo license for -1706 days' and then the black
and blue screen
and after few seconds everything is closed!

Thanks

Can you post here exact error messages related to I/O errors, available in Event Viewer?

I would suggest you to also look at the Event Viewer for the errors. You may get an idea of what eactly is going wrong

:D :D :D :D
thanks, but i solve, the problem was that port 6004, used by the licence service, on my server is used by another application.
The solution is to point to another validation, or change the other port application or change licence service port!!!

n.b : on the event viewer i have this message :

Env baanerp (d:\baanerp)
Prog bshell file \logic\lib\licence\liccmd.c # 318
Keyword licence
Username baan type S language 2
Process 0xdd4
ProcessSet baan@SV01:4168
Lasterror 0
Errno 0
bdberrno 0
Message receive_command: bad size: 28253
