Hi,

We are facing TIME OUT error in Baan when users trying to get login. Event viwer is showing Error: 64 WriteFile() Failed. BDBerror no 0. we have some n of licenses. Whenever all licenses are filled then this eror is showing. It should be Maximum users reached. but it is giving Time Out. And users who logged already also facing this problem, when other users are trying to get the login.

If any body knows please help us.

Why are you looking at licenses? from the error message it looks like a
Disk or Database problem.

Hi

Yes, we have tried in that way also. Our page file size as well virtual memory is more than enough for requirement. Any other file to search ?

HI kazasaritha,

If you can check the SQL server log file, may be it reaches the maximum size or Disk is full where the log file saved.

Hi,

I want to add my views in this issue. Can u tell me what is exact procedure to reduce the SQL DB Log file size ? Presently I am using one third party utility & reducing the file size by without taking backup of the file. It reduces the file size upto 2 MB.
