Hi all,

I cannot print requested system configuration. Error appear says
You have no more license to start the bshell.

I have actually migrated to our new server. I believe i have to print requested system
configuration and pass the file to baan support so that I can get the validation key.

But if I cannot print the system configuration, can baan support still give me the validation key for my new server. What information does baan support need from my new server so that they can give me the validation key?

Please check the following:

1) are you logging in as baan (for windows) or root (unix)?
2) does your $BSE/lib/licence6.(1/2) file point to your current server?
3) can you try starting your bw with ttiex3228m000 in the "command" line of the bw config and then run that session?

The other option is to brand from the command line, which is a bit of a pain.

Hi dave,

Yes, the licence6.1 is correct with hostname.
I tried bsp and root but same result.

Can you tell me the steps for branding the software. Never mind if it is painful.

Thanks and regards

log into the box.. type
brand6.1 as root
enter in the info it asks...
send the security key that it prints out to Baan
along with your customer number...

the'll send you back a validation code that you
can enter into Brand...

Thanks dave.

I could run ttiex3228m000 session, so now can print security code.

Thanks and regards
