You should post your Baan version and error message to help determine the cause of the problem.
Have you checked if the currency/format exists in Baan?

Have you installed the demo tables for company 000. You might have to load them from command line (bdbpost), depending on the Baan Version.

The installation details are as follows.
BaaN ERP 5.0b
SP12
Sun Solaris
I am able to see the data in the formats sessions & the runtime also gives a positive response by creating the datecurr file in the $BSE/lib. I still get the error while executing any session containing amount or qty. I suppose the runtime is failing due to some reason. Has anyone faced this problem ? any solutions ?

Checks :
- Did you log of and logged in again to update changes?
- Check that the permissions of datecurr are correct (owned by bsp, readable by bsp group).
- Check the contents of datecurr to see if your formats are really there.
- As last ressort, I also suggest to refresh your shared memory.
