No, you can change it.
If you are using an IP address in the $BSE/lib/licence6.1 file instead of a server name, make sure you update it, otherwise, no other actions are needed for Baan (eg, other than stop Baan , change IP, start Baan).

the IP is not interesting for BaaN - but possibly to your Database!
You should check that too!
