The baan instance starts but the menu labels and the button labels are not visible. Instead i see ??????????.
The following setup is done:
1. Oracle 9 as backend.
2. Porting set 7.1 d 06.
3. The data is being exported from the exisitng server for the companies '000' and '210' only. the existing server has Oracle 8 and porting set 6.2a.03.01.

The data in the new server is converted to Level 2 as per the earlier query reply(dropping the Hash columns and index).

Now i'm not able to do the runtime conversion for any table or reorganize any table thru the session.
The error it displays is ' Error 512(Corrupted data dictionary) on ttadv998000 in db_insert(51) '

Kindly help me as there is group waiting to install 'open word' in this new server and nothing works fine. It's Urgent !!!!!

do you still have the old DB laying around?

What's your NLS_LANG set to in the database/db_resource/tabledef and environment?

actaully, can you post the db_resource / tabledef6.x?

We had the same problem after installing B-Languages onto our system. The correct labels were not installed in tools.

As well a some files (dtopt*) in the lib-directory.
